Problems in Chanting and Soultion

Here we have discussed most common issues / mental hurdles in chanting Shree Vishnu Sahasranamam and tried to discuss their solution as well.

-: Problems :- 

Whenever someone is suggested to read or listen Shri Vishnu Sahasranamam, they mention below habitual hurdles :

•  Not having habit of doing daily regular worship. 

•  Lack of time.

• Problems due to negative energy in house, place or inside us.

• Always calculating profit and loss or lack of devotion.

• Not planning to start by looking at size of Stotra.

• Due to restless, irritating mindset, anger or too much extrovert nature.

• Worrying about complexity of reading Sanskrit and about meanings of names. 

-: Solutions :- 

• First read benefits of reading Shri Vishnu Sahasranamam, also given in this blog. Then study experiences of devotees who have benefited by regular reading or listening of Sahasranamam. By doing so you will develop some interest to read Sahasranamam because our worldly mind doesn't  show interest in anything until there is some benefit.

• Then read what great Siddha Saints, greats like Shree Sai Baba, Shankaracharyas, Bhai Ji have said about reading Shri Vishnu Sahasranamam. This will give you some more belief to start reading.

• Give a thought about problems in life, unknown fears, worry for loved ones, stress, bad relationships, temporary nature of life, money problems, responsibilities of children's education, marriages etc. When you think about all these common issues of life then you will realize that other then hard work, constant work , struggle Grace of Almighty is also required because we don't know how much burden of previous life's Karma is on our head. Then think again though I am putting all efforts but how do I receive Grace of Lord also.

• Please understand that due to habits from many lifetimes Mind will resist at his best not to study Sahasranamam and will give all pity, senseless reasons to not to read Sahasranamam. But now you also put all your efforts, force and by hook or by crook start reading Sahasranamam. 

• Don't feel demotivated by seeing size and length of Stotra.  When we can find time to watch 3 hour movies, hours for gossiping with our loved one, and listening news etc. Why can't we find 13 - 20 minutes to 30 minutes ( yes, YouTube has all version) for Lord Who loves us most in this world unconditionally , Who provides air, sunlight, food, vegetable, care of Mother and Father, gives us eyes, hands, legs, intellect and much more.

• So dear brother and sisters how can you not find time to remember amazing, beautiful 1000 names  of Lord Shree Hari who can take care of you by all means  and can address all your concerns, can give you assurance, can get rid of all our worries, is all pervading, all powerful, all knowing, all merciful, so start having a little faith on Him . If required, don't see news, don't read news paper, don't watch movies, gossip less, waste no time but one must attempt to regularly read or listen Shree Vishnu Sahasranamam. One can even listen while travelling to or from office. 

• So before your mind start tricking you by calculating profit and loss statement of reading Divine Sahasranamam and suggest you to give up, make a resolution to read it at any cost or in any condition of life and in any state of mind. Because Lord always works in mysterious manner because He knows and sees everything while we have very limited sight of seeing immediate profit or loss. When we start seeing His divine grace even in some temporary or short term loss then we are on right track otherwise Maya will make you stop reading Sahasranamam by showing you some loss and no benefit. Even if there is no maternal benefit, one definitely gets mental peace, divine bliss, divine assurance a competition free mindset which can perform better in finding solutions of Life problems, can face any situation

• So beautiful souls, this is most beneficent method suggested for Kalyuga which was approved in presence of Lord Krishna Himself by His most devoted Shree Bhism Pitamah on asking questions by most Truthful Yudhisthir ji Maharaj.

• Be aware that Shri Vishnu Sahasranamam is most read Sahasranamam in world in all temples of Lord Hari, Lord Rama and Lord Krishna and in Shirdi Sai Baba's temple. So our environment or ether is fully aware and full of sound vibrations of these 1000 names.  

• Even devotees of Shree Lord Shiva and our Divine Mother can read it without any confusions and doubt because :

    a. There is no difference between Lord Hari and Lord Hara even many names in Shri Vishnu Sahasranamam vouch for this.

                   

    b.  Lord Hari is Divine Brother of our Divine Mother, there is a name as 'Padma-nabh-Sahodari - पद्मनाभसहोदरी'  in Mother's Sahasranamam. 

• Develop a relationship or connection with Lord Hari, for example considering He is Brother of my divine Mother - Lalitha Amba, I consider Him as my Maternal Uncle - MaMa. With Bhava of  'तोहे मोहे नाते अनेक - Lord, you have many relationship with me' one can consider Him as our divine father, brother or friend or our beloved. By doing this you will find it easy to devout yourself to Lord Hari.
